thank you

And since God gave these Gentiles the same gift he gave us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to stand in God’s way?
Acts 11:17

This made me think… have I ever stopped someone from growing? Have I ever hurt someone’s spiritual growth? It’s actually kind of scary to think about. It essentially brings me to tears.

When the others heard this, they stopped objecting and began praising God. They said, “We can see that God has also given the Gentiles the privilege of repenting of their sins and receiving eternal life.”
Acts 11:18

But instead of mourning or reflecting, stop and just give praise to God for what is about to happen and what has happened with you and another. Praise God for the times you have helped someone… or someone helped you. Thank them.. Thank God.

It’s ALL about You, Jesus! It’s not about me or what I can bring… it’s all about you!

Use me God, use me in a way you used Peter. Take all of me. Take my offering God!

testing

Spiritually testing day. Mathematically testing day. Physically testing day. I passed one of them? I hate the feelings I had today… so spiritually strong, yet so physically weak. I feel like I have so much to offer and so much I want to give, but my life is so contained right now. And there is no way to break free. The song I posted earlier exclaims something beautiful, “when you feel so far away… i am still yours! i hear your voice, I am yours!” physically i feel so far away… but in actuallatiy i’m not… i’m in a better place than i’ve ever been. I’m His :-)

However, I was weak today… but with help… from someone and God… i made it through. It’s bed time … glorious bed time.

“Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God, and keep the vows you made to the Most High. THEN call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.”
Psalm 50:14-15

thank you

Father, you’ve done great things!  Yet sometimes we don’t fully show our gratefulness!  You’ve done some pretty freaking amazing things and we just live our lives as if it’s all good.  We live as if we’re happy with you and that’s it.  But when things aren’t good — shouldn’t we still thank you for all you have done and are going to do?  You have done great things!   Thank you for restoring my heart these past seven months.  It’s been an adventure that I’m loving.  Thank you for being the God above all!

lake swan’s teaching

As a Christian, you have much for which to be thankful. God is with you. When you find yourself becoming frustrated by the world’s inequalities, stop, look up and live thanks to God for His blessings.
